Median of Triangle

Segment joining vertex and midpoint of it’s opposite side is called meadian.

All medians of a triangle are concurrent.

Their point of intersection is called Centroid (G) of triangle.

Centroid G of a triangle devides each median in 1:2 ratio.

Altitude of triangle

Perpendicular drawn from vertex on opposite side is called altitude of triangle.
